Education is and will always be the most important gift we can give to future generations, our country, humanity and earth at large. Without it we are doomed. What we forget is, Sex Sells. I read your article solely because it reminded me of a Ballerina I dated. As for education, it should be free, and we should be paying students to attend rather than charging them. If their grades plummet, then we should charge them. Learning, studying and higher education is hard work and should be rewarded, not punished. The system is broken, it needs to be fixed. If we started paying- rewarding kids in High School for Attendance and Better Grades, we would correlate hard work and dedication with success. Right now, it's still a Popularity Contest and who has the Richest Parents Wins. The system needs to be changed because this is a redundant and self-replicating system. It allows the rich and beautiful to remain a step or two above the rest. If only the wealthiest persons can afford College, guess what happens to the next generation. It only exacerbates the problem. We should pay kids for perfect attendance and reward those whose grades merit reward. If we offered free college tuition for perfect attendance and rewarded good grades, what would happen to our youth? Furthermore, the reward should go to the child and not the parents. A 13–14-year-old should understand the value of money, and if they don't, they need to learn quickly, life ain't free.
